Bright and cheerful cottage, decorated in blue and white. Living room/fully equipped kitchen and bedroom with queen bed- linens & towels supplied. Private back patio & furniture. Beaches surround the island 14 miles long, 3 miles wide. Complete privacy, clean, neat, airy. Short walk to center along lovely, historic Main Street. April ''wakes up'' Nantucket with colorful Daffodil Weekend and early-blooming yellow forsythia around the Island. Each month has its many special events throughout the summer. In September, after the crowds have departed to the mainland, the Island is all yours, off-season vacationers and honeymooners. Take along your sweaters biking and picnicking. Visit our Nantucket farms and Cranberry Harvest. In the evening, enjoy solitude on top of a sand dune at the beach, as you watch the great orange sun set slowly in the horizon.
