On this level are two suites very comfortably furnished with queen size beds in the bedrooms, comfortable couch and armchair in the sitting rooms, en suite bathrooms with showers, sliding glass doors out to a small garden, mini split air conditioners and fans.
Turning left up a large flight of stairs you step into a very private pool area framed by large manicured tropical gardens. Here there are two lovely palapas, one shading the 1st bar and the other the al fresco dining area. There are two marble fountains where water splashes gently down into two ponds, in the center of these is a large sun bed and spread around the pool there are seven sun loungers and other seating and side tables. The guest bathroom is also here as is the large kitchen and laundry room.
Off the pool area are the two bedrooms and the third suite, the two bedrooms have king size beds, en-suite bathrooms, Mexican terra cotta tiles, mini-split air conditioners and fans. They both have windows looking out to the pool and to Acapulco bay.
The third suite has a king size bed, couch, armchairs and coffee table, en-suite bathroom, Mexican terra cotta tile floors, mini-split air conditioner and fan. All the suites and bedrooms have his and her bathrobes, radio alarm clocks, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
Our huge open air living room is to the right at the top of the stairs and looks out on the right to the terrace and sparkling Acapulco Bay and on the left to the pool area. It is luxuriously furnished with one of a kind architect and Ivo designed pieces. There are five comfortable couches, easy chairs and coffee tables and a very large red lacquer table that seats up to twelve people. On one wall is the second bar and on the other a Bang and Olafsen sound system. Here too, for the use of our guests, is a high speed internet outlet, telephone, and television with satellite reception.
Off the living room is the large sun terrace overlooking Acapulco Bay. It is furnished with two sun beds with colorful cushions and a wall to wall bench with seat cushions and brightly colored pillows for the back rest. Here too is the third dining area with large glass table and Indonesian chairs that seats 10, it is the ideal place to come when the sun is setting to sip Margaritas and feel the breeze gently wafting off the pacific ocean, listening to soft music playing in the background. The whole casa lends itself to parties and we have had many memorable evenings dancing the night away under the stars.
The grounds around the Villa are sprawling and immaculately kept by our gardener. We have two huge mango trees that in season (March - April) provide their luscious fruit to eat, and exotic flowers that are used to adorn our tables and your bedrooms. The whole garden is dramatically lit at night creating a fairytale like ambiance. Our guests always tell us it looks like a scene out of a movie. The two fountains and two waterfalls provide the Villa with the soothing sound of falling water from almost every angle of the house. They also give one a sense of coolness and well being.
Enchantingly romantic and deliciously detailed in every way, the unique appeal of Villa Acapulco 100 lies in its eclectic style, its personality and in its utter dedication to the art of good living.
