Built in 1606, entirely in local stone, the house itself probably dates back to the same medieval period as the famous nearby Saint Antimo Abbey. Great care was taken to maintain the original structure while providing it with complete modern comforts. The house is furnished with original Tuscan high-end furniture and expresses the beautiful combination of modern efficiency and the perfect historical Tuscan ambience. There are wood beamed ceilings, white washed walls, several stonewalls and terra cotta floors. Privacy and silence are the distinguishing features of this house located in a picturesque valley. Distances: Florence - 1hour & 45mins, Sienna is 45 mins, Rome is 2 hours & 30 mins, Pienza is 30 mins and Horseback riding - nearby. Electricity and water included. Heating is €300 per week if used. Local calls included, long distance calls, including those to cell phones are extra charge. Maid service is €20 per hour. A chef is available for €60 per hour. This service needs to be reserved in advance. Final cleaning (mandatory) is €25 per person, including infants. All the above services must be paid locally, prior to departure in Euros.
