Casella is a splendid stone farmhouse situated within enchanting hills with extensive views over a broad valley and the glorious landscape of Tuscany and Umbria. There is a fenced garden surrounding the farmhouse and its annex, Capanna, is abundant with olive trees and herb bushes and blends in perfectly with the delightful countryside. Set in the grounds sloping down from the house is the swimming pool: graced with ample and superior quality garden furniture, the pool also boasts a room equipped for cold buffet catering. It also has shower rooms, thus rendering outdoor life even more agreeable. The interior of the farmhouse is tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail. Casella is only a short distance from the picturesque little village of Preggio, with a general store and "trattoria", serving typical regional dishes. Casella is reached via a good gravel road of approximately 200 meters.
DISTANCES: Umbertide is 21kms/13miles, Cortona is 43kms/26miles and Perugia is 39kms/24miles.
A telephone, extra maid service, a cook and heat for villa are often available for an additional charge, however we can not GUARANTEE maids and cooks as they are employed by the property owner. These extra services are paid locally in Euros.
The main farmhouse sleeps 8-10 and the guest house sleeps 4 people. If only the farmhouse is booked (the 4 bedroom) rate, the guest house is closed off.
The Security Deposit is €1,500.00.
